The Black Sails went on a 1 month sea training event. I was to learn the basics of life at sea. This was the introduction to all the new recruits of the Black Sails. They taught us skills from cleaning a ships deck, to how to tie ourselves to the mast! All type of skill to help anyone manage a storm or understand how to use the stars to guide one to the right direction.

This was so much fun! Much more organized than my last “training” event with my Dojo.

Although, the sleeping was not that great. We didn’t have much room, and being the lowest ranking… I got the floor. It was a bit cold.
We got a change to have some fun though, we went diving and swimming! It was a good way to relax the crew from the hard work!
The Sargent took a picture with me. He was very knowledgeable but a rough character. He has a soft heart as he really cared for all of us.

This was the best way to get received by a month away. A girl really knows when she is missed and loved…
